Research for Music Video: Skill Audit

During AS the work required analysis of TV and film clips to match the work we were doing, in order to blog about this work we used a variety of technologies we had never used such as; Powtoon, Prezi, Emaze and Go Animate. We also made a use of vlogs to document our progression in our project. Our A2 work also requires analysis of videos however, we have to put them into context using theories from people like Carol Vernallis, Laura Mulvey and Andrew Goodwin. Our A2 work differs from our AS in the way we analyse music video in terms of these theories, instead of solely looking at small TV and film clips. In A2 we have also expanded our range of technologies we use to display the information on the blog, to do this we have learned to use new technologies with original technologies we learnt to use in AS such as; Mural.ly, Animoto, Slid.es, Wordle, Voki etc. I have also developed by using a variety of technologies straight away, this differs from AS as I only started to use technologies on the blog half way into blogging.
