Planning ancillary products: analysis of digipacks task

Album covers are really important because they entice consumers to buy the album. The design of a album cover can be very different as people have many artistic visions.  When artists release an album they also have a promotional package which features flyers, advertisements in magazines and articles on social media.  Each artist promotes their product differently depending on the genre, brand, and image etc I've chosen to look at these Digital package in particular as they come from the pop genre, which is the same as my artists.

Labrinth's digital package was very detailed,  he used the image of his album cover to advertise his tour and used a completely different image to advertise his album.  Labrinth used quotes from various sources and a rating to advertise his album.

Dizzee Rascal's digital package is extremely basic, he uses the same image and font on the front and inside of his album as he does  on his flyers. Dizzee  shows he is into the pop scene as he uses a funky graffiti type of writing and styles his album similar to pop art. the album cover and promotional package advertises Dizzee Rascal as a representation of pop music.

Cher Llyods Digital package is very repetitive and simple. she uses the same pictures on flyers as  used on her website and uses the same font in her writing. Cher Lloyd is an upcoming star so the majority of her advertising is on social media.
