Front Album Cover
I compared the two digipaks an I realised that I should make the effects and the font used more simplistic. This way it doesn't overpower the artist. I could also put the titles away from the artist so there is more focus on them and also highlights that the artist is the most important. Making the front album cover simplistic will avoid it being to busy and so will look less childish and unprofessional.
Back Album Cover/ Track list
From comparing the back covers I know I have added the right components to my draft digipak. Such as the track list, the bar code, copyrights, and record label symbols. However, I noticed that they also included the producers and writers on the back of J Cole's album. But I will think about whether to add this as it seems to be a convention typical to the Hip Hop genre and not of Pop. I will consider this after researching other digipaks from a variety of different genres.
Album Release Poster
After making this comparison it dawned on me that my draft was quite cluttered and unorganised however, it did include typical items such as reviews, the actual release date, the name of the artist, the name of the album, and featured the one of the places the album can be bought online
Overall I will look at different digipaks from different genres, including past students' ones but, I know for future drafts I should make sure I include synergy of fonts used, to include all the copyright symbols and relevant components of a digipak, and consider making the digipak simplistic as to not overpower the artist.
