Ancillary Work - Analysis of 3 existing digipak (Artist from similar genres)





Choice of colour: Grey and White. These colours suit the R'n'B and pop genre as they are have an urban feel to them.

Choice of font: Lower case, sharply rounded

Use of Image: Has a connection to the album name as the artist is shown pulling her hair up from her roots. The advert features the album cover, uses the cover as the whole poster.

Design elements: A design is used to present an upside down triangle breaking apart the middles of the artist's name.




Choice of colour: Green and different shades of Pink. Similarity to album name

Choice of font: Bubble writing. Similar to idea of a tongue.

Use of image: Odd photo selection and positioning. Fits the artist style. The advert also features the whole album cover.

Design elements: Exaggerated font style to reflect unique artist style.




Choice of colour: Gold, White and Black. Artist wearing these colours as well as the text having these colours.

Choice of font: Script font, cursive. The album name looks as if it has been written.

Use of image: Clear photo of artist, hands on either side of head. Emphasizes the artist's face. Same photo from album cover on the whole of the poster.

Design elements: Gold texture on artist name. Makes it stand out as it is the only text with this effect.
