The Shadow effect.
'The shadow effect' is a idea that came to me whilst filming , I thought it would be a great way to brake up our shots and added something that represented raven king, 'a little different and thoughtful' . I thought this would have been a effective shot as it focused on her singing and drew attention to the lyrics on screen. whilst editing I found a way to use this shot in conjunction to our convention. A lot of pop music videos tell a story, one way of telling that story is by corresponding the images on screen with the song lyrics. This is something Andrew Goodwin mentions in his theory. The video below is a example of how the shadow shot can be used to help tell the story by relating the images on screen to the lyrics.
