Ancillary Work: Starting The Editing

Today in class I finally started editing on Photoshop my final ancillary product, while working on it I realised how very different the outcome is starting to look compared to my mock up, however the layout is still the same. In class i was finding i was struggling to decide how i should position the picture of the artist:

After spending an hour and a half cropping and filtering and rotating I soon got too frustrated and deleted everything and decided to work on it at home.

This resulted me to change my whole planning all over again and even change my picture and sketch a whole new plan for my background. My original idea of using gradient just did not seem to fit with the genre.
This is the final figure I had eventually decided to stick to as  it was the one that satisfies me the most. So finally so far,I have finished editing the artist, however I will need to fit it into the template and stick on my chosen background layer which will remain white with an effect.
